With the Dimensity 900 coming soon, MediaTek will continue to expand its family of 5G compatible Dimension processors with new members. The company announced that it will position the Dimensity 1200 and 1100 at the high end of the market and is currently preparing to release processors at the lower end of the market. MediaTek's goal is to reach the mid-range of Dimensity 900s.

Dimension 900 is a continuation of dimension 820. According to a new statement from China, the Dimensity 900 outperformed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G in the Antu benchmark. As you can see, the Snapdragon 768G scored 400000 points on the test, of which the Dimensity 900s scored 480000.

In the same test, Dimensity 820 also scored 440000. This means that MediaTek's performance can be improved by about 10 per cent with Dimensity 900s.

Although the score of the discussion is not strange, it does not look bad. Among Qualcomm's 5G-compatible midrange processors, only the Snapdragon 780g seems to outperform MediaTek's processors. The 780g snapdragon scored 540000 on the test.

Although the official announcement on MediaTek's Tianji 900 has not yet been released, the emergence of the benchmark indicates that the announcement is not far away.
