Last month, Samsung launched Galaxy Fold, and its unpackaged campaign caused a sensation. Although the phone won't be released until next month, the South Korean phone maker is already producing two other folding smartphones.

If you bend a wire again and again until it breaks in half, you will observe the stress that may be caused by repeated bending. To ensure that the phone, especially its screen, is ready for market, Samsung has conducted several rounds of folding tests with its robot. A round of tests took a whole week and turned the phone through 200000 times. This figure is equivalent to a user turning on and off his phone 100 times a day for five years. It is speculated that most phones have passed the test because the company continues to use it and other planned devices. But Samsung did not give the failure rate of the screen.
