Iphone xr14.6 standby power down fast (Apple is investigating the iPhone 6 explosion)
The battery of a smartphone explodes from time to time. In a recent case, iPhone 6 exploded in the hands of an 11-year-old girl. The device didn't cause any damage, but it did burn through the blanket and was startled. Apple is already investigating the incident and will replace a new faulty component.
"I sat there with my phone in my hand, and then I saw sparks flying around, so I threw it on the blanket," Karamos told 23ABC News. The girl said, "I was in bed and my phone managed to burn through the blanket and made a few holes."
A day later, Kayla's mother, Maria Wilkes, called Apple's technical support department and asked her to send a photo of her phone back to Apple. The company also informed Adata that it would send her a new iPhone once she returned the damaged equipment.
"this could be my child," Adata said. "my child may be on fire, and she may be more seriously hurt. I'm glad she's okay."
"I will never sleep with it again," she added. "I know we received a lot of money, which may be the cause of the overheating."
At the same time, Kayla saw a glimmer of hope in the story. "it's not that bad," the girl said. "I mean, I can spend more time with my sisters and family." Thankfully, no one was hurt in this incident.
It is not clear why iPhone exploded, and there may be many explanations for the unfortunate accident. This may sound scary, but in rare cases, some phones catch fire. As long as these are isolated events, there is no need to worry about the security of iPhone 6.
In 2014, Apple released iPhone 6. Since then, Apple has sold tens of millions. Many are still in use after so many years.
The only phone recalled because of a fire hazard is the Galaxy Note 7, whose battery failure caused several explosions and fires in the weeks after its release.
