The first developer preview release of Apple iOS 11.4 beta
at the end of last month, Apple officially launched iOS 11.3, tvOS 11.3 and watchOS 4.3 system updates. However, a few days after the official release, in the early hours of April 3, Apple began testing the next operating system updates for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Currently, the first beta test version of iOS 11.4, tvOS 11.4 and watchOS 4.3.1 for developers has been released.
if you are a developer or have a developer account, the first iOS 11.4 beta developer Preview system can already be downloaded from Apple developer Center. Of course, devices that are already in developer beta status can also be updated through OTA. As for the public beta version of iOS 11.4 beta, it is usually available a few days after the developer preview release, as soon as one day after the release.
I believe that through the Apple launch on March 27, you already know that there will be a version of iOS 11.4, and you also know what should be updated with this version of the system. It is clear that the new ClassKit education architecture will be one of the priorities, and in iOS 11.4, developers will be able to use ClassKit to easily update their own app to take full advantage of schoolwork app, such as making it easy for their app to assign activities and check student progress.
at the same time, "AirPlay 2" may also reappear because Apple removed it from the official version of iOS 11.3, and provided specific reasons. The original iOS 11.3 beta version was removed after Apple tested three developer versions, and has not been seen since. Another feature that may also appear in iOS 11.4 is iCloud Messages, and more city bus cards may be bound to China in the future.
Users who have completed the iOS 11.4 developer preview update in the early hours of the morning pointed out that the iOS 11.4 beta confirmed that it included the "alternate playback 2" feature, while Apple TV was again included in the "home app", while HomePod also provided stereo options and so on. It is believed that more users will announce what updates are available in the first developer preview of iOS 11.4 today.
iOS 11.4 the first developer preview version is 15F5037c, and although it can be directly upgraded through the configuration file, upgrading is not recommended for non-public beta versions, at least for everyday devices, because it is really possible to lose data.
