The most frequently used version of the Android operating system is Android 7.0.

Last month Nougat overtook Lollipop, which has been online for three years, and took the second place in the Android camp. In Google's latest February release pie chart, Android 7.0/7.1 finally tops the list as the most used version of Android.

Android 8.0 Oreo finally expanded slightly to 0.8% this month after stagnating in January;Android 8.1 currently accounts for 0.3%, and the overall share finally exceeds 1.0%, but there is still a long way to go before it grows into a mainstream version.

However, with the completion of system testing by mobile phone manufacturers represented by Samsung, it is believed that more devices will be upgraded to Android Oreo system in the future. Essential also says PH-1 will be upgraded to Android 8.1.

Android version 7.0 accounted for 22.3% of the month, and 7.1 accounted for 6.2%. These two versions account for 28.5%, surpassing Marshmallow as the most used Android version.
