Android version of Chrome can now play videos more efficiently and smoothly.
Earlier, Google announced that the total amount of video played over Chrome worldwide has reached a billion hours a week, most of it from mobile devices. Such being the case, the authorities naturally need to constantly improve the viewing experience on mobile phones and tablets, and this is why the latest Android version of Chrome 52 is here. According to reports, the new version will be able to "save power and play videos smoothly" and load faster than in the past (as shown in the demo video). In addition, after turning on Data Saver mode, you can also see videos with higher compression ratio, which should be more practical when the traffic is not abundant.
However, according to Google, these improvements are limited to HTML5, in other words, Flash-based videos should not seem to change much. In addition, this update will be available in Play stores in various regions, so be patient if you haven't received it yet.
