Google's new Android phone support tool: zero-touch enrollment
Google today announced the addition of a new support tool for Android phones, zero-touch enrollment. In the next few weeks, Huawei Mate 10, Sony XZ1/XZ1 Compact and others will begin to support this tool.
The specific usage of Zero-touch enrollment is that for enterprise users, you can ensure that all deployed products follow the company-level unified specifications, such as security configuration, Internet environment, pre-installed APP, and so on.
For end consumers, the redundant and complicated boot process will be eliminated and only need to log in to the account, which can quickly switch to the new mobile phone for use.
Currently, zero-touch enrollment only supports Pixel phones from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint,T-Mobile, Softbank Corp. of Japan and Telstra of Australia.
Google said it was coordinating with Samsung, Huawei, Sony, LG, HMD, BlackBerry, HTC, Moto, Honeywell, Zebra and other manufacturers to promote the popularity of zero-touch enrollment.
