Firefox Lockbox came to Android to ease the pain of managing passwords

Mozilla today introduced Firefox Lockbox, a password management software for Android users, to ease the pain of password management for Android users. This password manager is based on the login information already available in Firefox, making it easier to log in to applications. Mozilla says it integrates with the automatic login completion system in Apple's iOS and Google's Android software.

­unlike password managers (such as lastpass, bitwarden, 1password, and dashlane), the only browser it can use is Firefox. On the other hand, if the user is already using a Firefox browser, it is basically set up for the user, and there is no migration process like using a dedicated password manager.

­however, Firefox Lockbox lacks some more advanced but very useful password manager features, such as generating secure new passwords and providing the ability to save usernames and passwords when registering a new website. In response, Mozilla said that the launch is to improve the login experience for users and bring additional value to Firefox users, and Mozilla is exploring future features and possible ways to resonate with Firefox users.
