In the performance test on the site of the press conference, the performance of the stand-alone deployment form of OceanBase4.0 surpassed that of MySQL under the same hardware conditions, and achieved the industry breakthrough of catching up with and surpassing the centralized database for the first time. At the same time, OceanBase Cloud, which supports multi-cloud deployment, is also officially launched.

The introduction of two major product strategies is making OceanBase smaller and more flexible, greatly reducing the threshold for enterprises to use financial-level distributed databases.

According to reports, in the past year, OceanBase Cloud's annual revenue increased by 300% compared with the same period last year, which has become a strong second growth curve. OceanBase Cloud, which has 100% OceanBase capability, already supports Aliyun and will officially launch AWS in September, followed by support for mainstream global public cloud infrastructure.
