CTOnews.com has learned that the iPhone 14 series is expected to be released in September, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
Guo Mingyi pointed out that the increase in the average selling price of Apple's iPhone 14 series is due to higher prices and a higher proportion of shipments of two iPhone 14 Pro models. Hon Hai will be one of the winners of iPhone 14 series ASP enhancements.
According to reports, Hon Hai is the main EMS (electronic manufacturing services) manufacturer of the iPhone 14 series, with 60-70 per cent of orders, and its revenue will significantly benefit from the increase in iPhone 14 series ASP. It is not surprising that Hon Hai raised its full-year results from "roughly flat" to "growth".
Hon Hai's second-quarter revenue was NT $1.5098 trillion (about 339.705 billion yuan), up 7% from a month earlier and 12% year-on-year, while net profit was NT $33.3 billion (about 7.492 billion yuan), up 12% from a year earlier, according to the financial report.
