Weibo: will launch the personal home page to display the comment function, cannot turn on or off independently

CTOnews.com, August 22, according to the Weibo administrator, in order to further strengthen the governance of speech attacks and cyber violence, and create a friendly and healthy community atmosphere, the station will launch its personal home page in the near future to display the function of public comments posted by users in public places on the basis of the functions of "one-click protection" and "one-click proof", so as to encourage users to participate in content creation and interactive discussion more actively and amicably.

After the personal home page display comment function is online, users' public comments under Weibo posted by media accounts and government accounts will be regarded as public comments in public space and displayed on the user's personal home page. CTOnews.com has learned that this feature will be launched in a small-scale test for some users in the near future, while the platform will optimize the relevant functions according to the test feedback, and will gradually open to more users after the test is completed.

According to the time when the user posted the comment, the original blog post of the comment and the specific content of the comment are inserted into the corresponding position of the Weibo timeline of the user's personal home page, and the time of the comment is displayed in the title. Click the title to view all the user's comments.

When a user comments on the same blog for many times, only the content of the last comment is displayed on the home page, and the comment aggregation secondary page will display the user's latest 3 comments under the blog post; when the original blog post commented by the user is deleted or is non-public, and the content of the user's comments is deleted or non-public, the corresponding content will no longer be displayed on the personal home page.

In addition, if Weibo enables comment selection, it will not be displayed on the user's home page until the comment is reviewed and released by the blogger. This function is designed to encourage users to participate in public discussions more actively and amicably, and cannot be turned on or off actively by users.
