Dune: awakening has been launched at Steam Mall, and the game introduction says it has risen from survival to dominance in a huge seamless Arrakis planet shared by thousands of players. Dune: awakening combines the courage and creativity of survival games with the social interaction of large, lasting multiplayer games to create a unique and ambitious open world survival MMO.

As can be seen from the trailer, the game presents a very realistic Arrakis planet, in which a spice mining truck is swallowed by a sand bug, and the voice-over reads the classic sentence "fear is the mind-killer" from the "dune" novel, and then the protagonist rushes to the sand bug.

CTOnews.com learned that "Dunes: awakening" will be launched on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, and that the game was developed by Conan the exile, another game inspired by Funcom. The release date has not been announced, and the game's official website registration has been launched and a beta version is about to be released.
