According to foreign media WccfTech news, AMD's upcoming Ruilong 7000 processor also has a 3D cache model, and some news about this processor has been released.

According to the source, the core of the Ruilong 7000 3D cache model CPU is the 5nm process, but the 3D cache uses TSMC's 7nm or 6nm process; the capacity is the same as the previous generation, still 64MB, but the technology has been upgraded to the second generation.

In addition, the CPU of the Ruilong 7000 3D cache model will not reduce its frequency as much as the R7 5800X3D, but its frequency will still be slightly lower than that of the regular model.

In terms of performance, the 3D cache model of the Ruilong 7000 is expected to improve by up to 30% compared to the conventional model with the same core number. By contrast, the game performance of the old R7 5800X3D can be improved by an average of 15 per cent with a 1080p high setting.

According to sources, the 3D cache model of the Ruilong 7000 will include the R7 7800X3D and possibly the R7 7950X3D, which is expected to be released at the end of this year and in the first half of next year.

CTOnews.com has learned that the approximate parameters of the AMD Ruilong 7000 starting lineup have been exposed, including the lack of the R7 7800X model, which is expected to be made directly into the R7 7800X3D model by AMD.
