Report: Samsung Group's sales are expected to exceed 2 trillion yuan for the first time this year

CTOnews.com, August 25, according to Yonhap news agency, the Korea CXO Research Institute, an enterprise analyst, said today that thanks to the strong growth momentum of Samsung Electronics, the total sales of Samsung Group companies are expected to exceed 400 trillion won (about 2.05 trillion yuan) for the first time this year.

The South Korean CXO Research Institute analyzed the sales trend of Samsung Group since 2010 and its performance in the first half of this year, and found that Samsung Group's sales have fluctuated slightly since it exceeded 300 trillion won for the first time in 2012, and reached 378.7 trillion won (about 1.94 trillion yuan) last year, a record high.

Thanks to the strong growth momentum of Samsung Electronics, the total sales of Samsung Group companies are expected to reach 410 trillion won this year, exceeding 400 trillion won for the first time. Among them, Samsung Electronics sales are expected to exceed 300 trillion won for the first time.

For the whole of 2021, Samsung Electronics' revenue reached an all-time high of 279.6 trillion won (about 1.48 trillion yuan) and an operating profit of 51.63 trillion won (about 272.606 billion yuan), CTOnews.com learned.
