Sony PS5 official announced that the price increased, the Bank of China increased by 400 yuan.
CTOnews.com August 25, Sony announced today that it will adjust the price of PS5 mainframe in some markets, the price adjustment will be implemented in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America, as well as some markets in Canada, but the price will not rise in the United States.
CTOnews.com warned that Bank of China's PS5 digital version / CD-ROM version was raised by 400 yuan to 3499 yuan / 4299 yuan, with price increases of 12% and 10% respectively.

Sony announced yesterday that from September 1, 2022, Sony announced an average increase of about 8 per cent in shipping prices and suggested retail prices for 129 products sold in Japan, including digital non-reflex cameras, E-card microcamera lenses, Blu-ray disc burners, cameras, portable audio players (including Walkman) and radios.
Sony Marketing explained that the price adjustment was "in response to the recent increase in raw material, manufacturing and logistics costs caused by the external environment". This is the second time that Soni has announced a price increase for its products since it announced a price increase in April.
