Huawei / Xiaomi / 360App Store launched the first App authentication signature label service to solve the App counterfeiting problem.

CTOnews.com August 25 news, according to Tyre Terminal Lab, recently, 360mobile assistant, Huawei App Store and Mi Store three application distribution platforms have been connected to the App signature service system of Tyre Terminal Lab of China Academy of Information and Communication, and have launched the first round of App certification signature tag pilot service.

Up to now, App signature service system has 583 registered users, issued 291 developer and distributor authentication signature certificates, and provided 49345 signatures for 33392 App.

CTOnews.com learned that under the guidance of the Administration of Information and Communications Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Theil Terminal Laboratory of China Information and Communications Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "China Institute of Information and Communications") has launched the App signature service system, comprehensively improving the traceability of all aspects of App and promoting the solution of App counterfeiting.

Android App generally uses the package name as its unique identity, for example, CTOnews.com App's package name is com.ruanmei.ithome. If there is a counterfeit software that also sets the package name to com.ruanmei.ithome, then you can overwrite CTOnews.com 's App at will, causing Li Ghost to beat Li Kui.

To this end, Android App developers will require developers to digitally sign, unable to install App with the same package name but different signatures, thus ensuring the uniqueness of App developers.
