Starting from October this year, Intel solid state drive warranty support will be provided by Solidigm
CTOnews.com, August 25, according to Intel's official news, Intel's NAND solid-state drive business was acquired by SK Hynix in November 2020 and has now changed its name to Solidigm. Starting October 2022, all technical and warranty support for NAND SSDs will be provided directly by Solidigm.
Warranty process change:
Work orders for warranty issues for NAND solid state drives created through portal or agent interaction must not be merged with other Intel products. If you apply for multiple NAND SSD warranties, you can merge them into the same warranty issue ticket. All other Intel products can be merged into another warranty issue work order.
A separate return request must be created for the NAND solid state drive. Shipping documents (such as waybills, commercial invoices) and packaging must be prepared separately (that is, NAND solid state drives and other Intel products must not be mixed into one box).
Please read the shipping guide carefully for information about NAND solid state drive products (including recipients of return addresses) to avoid delays.
CTOnews.com learned that Solidigm has recently launched its first consumer NVMe SSD product, Solidigm P41 Plus, which uses PCIe 4.0x4 specifications and QLC particles to provide three specifications: 512GB, 1TB, 2TB and M2.2280, 2242, 2230, which can be seen as a sequel to Intel 670p.
