The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that in accordance with laws and regulations such as the personal Information Protection Law, the Network Security Law, the Telecommunication regulations, and the provisions on the Protection of personal Information of Telecommunications and Internet users, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized third-party testing agencies to inspect mobile Internet applications (App) and third-party software development kits (SDK) concerned by the public, such as hotel catering, minors' applications, and third-party software development kits. Put forward rectification requirements for a total of 227th App (SDK) found to infringe upon the rights and interests of users. Up to now, there are still 47 App (SDK) that have not completed the rectification as required, which is hereby notified.
