Bank of China: from today, stop the ATM scanning deposit business.
CTOnews.com August 29 news, the Bank of China recently issued a "notice on the adjustment of ATM QR code deposit business", saying that it will adjust the ATM QR code deposit service from August 29. After the adjustment, the ATM card-free scan deposit function will stop, and users can still hold the bank's bank card to handle ATM deposits or go to the bank's business outlets to handle deposit business.
CTOnews.com learned that prior to this, China Construction Bank issued a "notice on stopping the deposit business of ATM QR code", shutting down the deposit function of ATM QR code from August 19, 2022, after which users can still handle ATM deposit business with a construction bank card, a non-discount deposit service without a card, or a "face-scanning" service.
