CTOnews.com September 2 news, today, IDC released a report that in the second quarter of 2022, China's AR / VR Touxian shipped 309000 units, including 12000 units shipped by AR and 297000 units by VR.

According to the report, from the perspective of VR, Standalone VR shipped 273000 units, an increase of 19.2% month-on-month. VR shipped 24,000 units, down 22.1% from the previous month. Among them, Standalone products are devices with independent computing power, while Tethered products need to rely on other equipment computing power.

CTOnews.com learned that IDC said that in the first half of 2022, under the strong efforts of large-scale offline retail and online marketing by head manufacturers, the overall AR / VR market shipped 586000 units, including 28000 units shipped by AR and 558000 units shipped by VR, and the proportion of consumer market shipments continued to increase.
