AutoX launches the first public operation of RoboTaxi in downtown Shanghai, based on FCA Dajielong model

AutoX said that the Pudong Jinqiao self-driving open road opened in Shanghai is the first intelligent network car open road test scene in the central urban area of Shanghai.

CTOnews.com learned that AutoX announced that the first batch of 50 AutoX Gen5 RoboTaxi had landed in the central urban area of Shanghai, all of which had obtained the Shanghai manned demonstration application license, and the new fleet expanded the layout of Antu Shanghai to Pudong and Jiading double districts, including the self-driving open demonstration application road of Shanghai's first central urban area launched by the Jinqiao Development Zone in Pudong.

According to reports, the new AutoX Gen5 RoboTax demonstration application in Shanghai is based on the Chrysler FCA Grand Jielong model, equipped with the latest fifth-generation autopilot system AutoX Gen5, integrated high-definition vehicle specification-level sensors, self-developed core computing platform AutoX XCU and autopilot domain electronic and electrical architecture, computing power up to 2200 TOPS.

AutoX Gen5 RoboTaxi's first batch of mass production in 2022, a total of more than 1000 fifth-generation unmanned vehicles have been offline.
