According to PhoneArena, the phone is out of stock in Best Buy, the Surface Duo 2 kiosk that advertises the device and allows consumers to experience it has disappeared, and Microsoft's official website for consumers and businesses, Microsoft.com, is directly out of stock, and there is no Surface Duo 2 for sale.

When you enter the Microsoft website and go to the Surface Duo 2 page, you will find that the configuration button is not available. In the list of Surface Duo 2 for Business, Surface Duo 2 is also listed as "out of stock".

Usually, this may suggest that Microsoft is about to launch a new generation of models. However, it has been revealed that Microsoft will not launch Surface Duo 3 this year and instead focus on software improvements, including the release of Android 12L for the device. Android 12L is a version of Android 12 made specifically for large-screen devices and will be pushed to Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2.

There are also reports that Microsoft is weighing the transition from a dual-screen device to a single-screen collapsible device, such as Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Xiaomi's MIX Fold 2.

CTOnews.com learned that Surface Duo 2 was released in September last year and has two 5.8inch AMOLED displays, each with a resolution of 1344 x 1892, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and protected by gorilla glass Victus. There are hinges between the two displays, which are about 8.3 inches in size when turned on. The machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, equipped with 8GB LPDDR5 memory and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage.
