CTOnews.com, Sept. 3 (Xinhua)-- the WashTower Compact laundry solution was launched at IFA2022,LG, which officials say is a two-in-one device that combines a separate washer and dryer, as well as an integrated control panel and advanced artificial intelligence.

LG said the new WashTower will bring better space utilization to households. Compared with the 2019 WashTower, the width and depth of the new model are reduced by 100mm and 170mm, respectively. In addition, the new WashTower washing machine provides a large capacity of 13 kilograms and the dryer provides a capacity of 10 kilograms.

CTOnews.com learned that LG's new all-in-one laundry solution uses a flat all-in-one design language. Officials say the design can bring a subtle, simple beauty to the home, can be seamlessly integrated with any type of decoration, and help consumers create a home environment that perfectly reflects their personal tastes.

In terms of functionality, the central control panel is located in the middle of the washer and dryer, allowing users to easily manage all settings and functions from a convenient location. This series of washing machines adopt artificial intelligence direct drive (AI DD), which can intelligently choose the most suitable washing mode and reduce fabric damage. At the same time, the Smart Pairing function saves users time by synchronizing the dryer with the washing machine.

LG has not yet released the launch information of the series of washing machines.
