CTOnews.com, September 5 (Xinhua)-- the new Polar Star 2 will arrive next year, with minor adjustments to the design, improved efficiency and performance of the new car, and a series of software updates.

It has been photographed that the prototype of the new Polar Star 2 is being tested in the Alps, and the new car will retain single-motor and dual-motor versions. The current Polar Star 2 offers 402bhp horsepower and 487lb ft torque, and the single-motor version has a range of up to 341mph (548.79 km).

The picture shows that the front grille and rim design of the vehicle being tested is covered, indicating that these two parts of the new car are about to change, and the front bumper of the new car is also different.

The interior picture of the new Polar 2 shows that it is basically the same as the current design, with the same 11-inch vertical infotainment screen and plush fabric on the dashboard.

CTOnews.com learned that although the revamped model won't arrive until 2023, Polar Star also recently updated the current Polar 2, introducing improvements to Apple's CarPlay, constant-speed cruising, efficiency and battery life.

Polar Star also recently unveiled its No. 3 model, which will be available in 2023. Meanwhile, the Star 6 has made its public debut on Pebble Beach, selling out its orders for more than 500 vehicles in less than a week, and the car will not be available until 2026.
