CTOnews.com, September 5 (Xinhua)-- Samsung has launched a number of new products, including Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 folding screen and Galaxy Watch 5 series. Some of these features will also be available for older devices.

Today, Samsung announced that it is pushing One UI 4.1.1 in the new folding screen and One UI Watch 4.5 in the Watch 5 series to older devices.

CTOnews.com has learned that Samsung will release One UI 4.1.1 system updates for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold. Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic will bring One UI Watch 4.5. Samsung will also release updates to Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2, which will bring selected One UI Watch 4.5 features.

Samsung One UI 4.1.1 features bring a new taskbar that gives devices a PC-like multitasking experience. It allows users to quickly switch between applications. Other features of One UI 4.1.1 include the ability to open multiple windows from anywhere and new gestures for multitasking. Galaxy Z Fold 4 also introduces a double preview, which displays image previews on both the main and secondary screens.

Older Galaxy Z Flip models have been upgraded to take quick shots, which allow users to preview and take photos at the original scale on the secondary screen. It also includes all new improvements that take full advantage of the sub-screen display on the Flip.

For previous Galaxy Watch models, One UI 4.5 brings new dials and customization options. The new QWERTY keyboard also makes typing easier. Updates to Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch 2 will include two new dials and snoring detection. The devices will also have access to a Samsung health monitoring application with blood pressure monitoring and ECG functions.

These features will be available to the device through software updates, the first of which will be launched for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, and will gradually be rolled out globally.
