China Satcom: mobile App SatZone can apply for aerospace "emergency assistance" to provide high-throughput broadband satellite network emergency communication services.

CTOnews.com Sept. 5, according to China Satcom released, in order to implement the "National 14th five-year Emergency system Plan" and quickly respond to the needs of various disaster emergency communications, the first time to provide high-throughput broadband satellite network emergency communications services for rescue units and people in disaster areas. Since June 18, 2022, China Satcom has opened a trial operation of "emergency assistance" green service channel on the SatZone service platform. For the majority of rescue units, people in disaster areas to provide personnel, equipment, flow and other emergency resources.

China Satcom said that since its trial operation, seven batches of emergency flow relief services have been provided in five disaster rescues to assist local rescue units in ensuring communications in the disaster areas, providing a cumulative total of 85 days of emergency flow resources, totaling the use of 37.64GB traffic.
