CTOnews.com Sept. 6, Ningde Times official Weibo said that on September 6, Xiamen Times New Energy Battery Industry Base project (phase I) officially began, with a total investment of no more than 13 billion yuan, mainly building power battery and energy storage battery production lines.

Ningde Times said that this is another innovative practice of promoting green development in Xiamen after the start of the new lithium-ion battery project (the first phase) of the Xiamen era in December last year. It will promote the cluster development of new energy power battery industry in Xiamen.

CTOnews.com learned that at home, the Ningde era already has 10 bases; overseas, the German factory has obtained a production license, the module line has now been put into production, and the core line has been put into production by the end of the year. This year, Ningde era laid out the second European factory in Hungary, with a total capacity of 100GWh, and construction will start this year. In the first half of this year, the global market share of the Ningde era reached a record high of 34.8%.
