CTOnews.com Sept. 7, the first performance benchmark of the AMD Ryzen 7000 series RDNA 2 iGPU has been reported, and it looks like the new APU will have very good performance.

Dart: AMD Ryzen 7000 successfully defeated 6CU on Cezanne APU with 2CU (6nm Magi Vega).

From the test results, the AMD Ryzen 7000 core display will be equipped with 2 computing units, a total of 128stream processors, a core frequency of 400MHz and a GPU frequency of 2200MHz (possibly peak frequency), which can provide 563GFLOPs computing power, which is slightly better than the 500GFLOPs (rated) Nintendo Switch processor.

CTOnews.com learned that the running score is the result of the R9 7950X using 64GB's DDR5 memory, the four DIMM platform, according to the previous information that the rate will drop to 3600Mbps. This means that the bandwidth is lower, so we can assume that the iGPU performance under the normal dual-channel DDR5 560006400 is slightly higher.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 iGPU device ID is displayed as "GFX1036" with a score of 7808 on the Geekbench 5 OpenCL benchmark.

For comparison, Vega 6 based on the new 7nm 6 CU scored 7003 on the same benchmark, while Vega 8 with eight cells scored about 8000-8500.

In other words, the normal performance of AMD RDNA 2 iGPU is about the same as that of Vega 8 (R3-2200G) and slightly lower than that of GT1030. It is not known whether AMD will introduce models with more GPU cores in the future.
