CTOnews.com, September 7 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft CFO Amy Hood sold $19.55 million (about 136 million yuan) worth of Microsoft shares, according to public filings from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to SEC's Sept. 6 filing, Hood sold 75351.4 Microsoft shares at an average price of $259.46 a share. The deal brings the direct beneficial ownership of Amy Hood to 445859 shares.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sold more than $14 million (about 97.44 million yuan) of Microsoft shares on Sept. 1.

In July of this year, Microsoft released its fourth quarter and full-year results for fiscal 2022. Microsoft's fourth-quarter revenue was $51.865 billion, up 12% from $46.152 billion in the same period last year, and 16% year-on-year, excluding exchange rate changes, and net profit was $16.74 billion, up 2% from $16.458 billion in the same period last year, according to the report. Diluted earnings per share were $2.23, up 3% from $2.17 in the same period last year.
