NASA will decide the next launch plan of the Artemis mission. Three core members will attend the meeting.

Beijing, September 8 (Xinhua)-- NASA announced that a media conference call will be held at 11:00 local time on September 8 to discuss the next step of the Artemis-1 mission.

According to the agency, the audio of the call will be broadcast live on the NASA website, and the core members attending the meeting will be Jim Free (Deputy Director of Exploration Systems Development Bureau at NASA headquarters), Mike Bolger (Kennedy Exploration ground Systems Program Manager), and SLS Chief engineer (John Blevins) at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

It is understood that due to a hydrogen leak that halted the launch attempt on September 3, the team decided to replace the seal on the interface between the liquid hydrogen fuel feed tube on the mobile launcher and the rocket.

In addition, paving the way for the long-term existence of the moon, the Artemis mission will land the first woman and the first man of color on the moon as a stepping stone to send astronauts to Mars.
