CTOnews.com Sept. 8, Singles Day, originally refers to the large-scale sales promotion on November 11 every year on Taobao, which originated from the "Taobao Mall Promotion Day" held by Alibaba in China on November 11, 2009, and has now evolved into an industry-wide annual shopping activity and a consumption phenomenon affecting the global retail industry.

Alibaba said that the "2022 Tmall double 11 Global Carnival season" will start at 8 p.m. on October 24, the first wave on October 31 and the second wave on November 10. I learned from Tmall Taobao that the opening time of the two waves of double 11 this year has been advanced to 8 p.m.

CTOnews.com learned that last year's Singles' Day event began early from November to 8pm on October 20, and four hours earlier than the previous event, which usually started at 12:00.
