When you watch the iPhone 14 launch, tens of thousands of people are being cheated by fake Apple Live rooms on YouTube.
CTOnews.com Sept. 8 news, early this morning, Apple iPhone 14 / Pro and a number of accessories were unveiled at the new product launch. While digital enthusiasts are focused on Apple's live studio, tens of thousands of people have been fooled by other fake Apple live rooms.
According to The Verge, an old interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook was broadcast live on YouTube early this morning, which seems to have been used to attract people to participate in the cryptocurrency scam.
CTOnews.com learned that the live broadcasts attracted attention by using a series of Apple keywords in their headlines and descriptions, such as "live Apple press conference, Cook: Apple and Metasmology in 2022". But when you actually open it, the studio is full of strange messages and links to a dark-looking cryptocurrency website.
In the studio, the swindler covered the logo of the CNN interview video with the words such as a press conference, disguising it as a real-time picture. In other words, when we are watching Cook's introduction to iPhone at 14:00, another person may be watching Cook's early interview in a fake studio.
The Verge reported that YouTube has so far deleted these studios.
