Apple: iPhone took more than 3 trillion photos last year
CTOnews.com Caron Thor, Apple's senior manager of camera quality, said more than 3 trillion photos were taken with the iPhone last year alone.
The 3 trillion photos also include photos taken for Apple's hit event Shot on iPhone. The campaign promoted photos taken by iPhone users on Instagram, Apple's website and billboards around the world.
CTOnews.com has learned that the latest iPhone 14 series has been upgraded in terms of images. Among them, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus feature a 12 megapixel main camera with larger sensors and pixel size, a new front-facing deep camera, and an ultra-wide-angle camera for wider scenes.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature a Pro-class camera system with a new 48 megapixel main camera. This is also the first time that the Pro product line has adopted a new 48 megapixel main camera with a four-in-one pixel sensor.
In addition, the light engine also brings about an improvement in low light performance. Through deep integration of software and hardware, the light engine can improve the performance of all cameras in low and medium light environments.
