CTOnews.com, September 10 (Xinhua)-- Financial data show that AUDA's consolidated revenue in August was 16.02 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 3.604 billion yuan), down 8.1 percent from July and 51 percent from a year earlier, reaching a 31-month low.

CTOnews.com learned that Youda said that August revenue decreased compared with the same period last year, mainly due to falling market prices and reduced shipments.

Specifically, the total shipping area of Youda panel in August reached 1.332 million square meters, an increase of 2.4% over July. Consolidated revenue in the first eight months of this year was 177.865 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 40.02 billion yuan), down 27.3 percent from a year earlier.

For comparison, Youda's July camp received NT $17.43 billion, down 15.8% from the previous month and 47.7% from the same period a year earlier. The total shipping area of the panel in July reached 1.301 million square meters, a decrease of 17.9% from the previous month.

Prior to this, Youda Chairman Peng Shuanglang pointed out on August 31 that recently, some brand customers have become more active in pulling goods, and the overall supply and demand has gradually returned to a more balanced state. "this is good news for the industry."
