BYD Semiconductor recently announced the launch of an industrial-grade global shutter CMOS image sensor chip-BF3031.

BF3031 is a 500-megapixel image sensor chip developed and produced by BYD Semiconductor using Global shutter technology, which supports parallel and MIPI digital output interface. The effective pixel array is 838 × 640, and the maximum frame rate is 120fps@full.

BYD Semiconductor said that compared with Rolling shutter,Global shutter, it can effectively solve the jelly effects such as partial exposure (partial exposure), slope pattern (skew), wobble and so on when objects are moving at high speed.

At present, BYD semiconductor BF3031 has been put into the market, and new products of Global shutter technology will continue to be developed for other fields in the future.
