The fist animated drama League of Legends: the Battle of two cities won four Emmy trophies.
CTOnews.com Sept. 13, according to the official news of the fist game, at the 74th Creative Art Emmy Awards in 2022, the first feature-length animated drama "League of Legends: the Battle of two cities" won the Best Animation Program (Outstanding Animated Program) Award and three Best Animation personal Achievement Awards, becoming the first game to win the Best Animation Program Award for adapted Animation and streaming Animation.
CTOnews.com learned that "Battle of two cities" was co-created and produced by the fist game and Fortiche Productions, broadcast in mainland China by Tencent Video and Netflix in other regions. When it premiered globally in November 2021, the animated series ranked first in the world in Netflix's month and occupied the list of TOP 10 in 52 countries and regions for three weeks in a row. Tencent Video's animation hit more than 400 million views in its first month, the rotten tomato index reached a rare 100% praise, and Douban scored 9.3 points.
League of Legends: the Battle of two cities premiered on November 7 last year and was broadcast exclusively on the official websites of Tencent Video, handheld League of Legends and the Battle of two cities.
Earlier, League of Legends officially announced that "League of Legends: the Battle of two cities" won nine awards in the 49th Anne Awards.
