Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen tomato fried tomatoes, July fire, clues delivery! CTOnews.com September 14 news, Apple iPhone 14 / Pro series recently released, and the outside world before the basic same, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max ushered in a big change, equipped with A16 chip.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have not changed much, and the processor is still A15 or A15 enhanced version.

According to Apple's mobile device model code published in the latest beta version of Apple Xcode, the iPhone 14 series model code is as follows:

iPhone 14:iPhone14,7

iPhone 14 Plus:iPhone14,8

iPhone 14 Pro:iPhone15,2

iPhone 14 Pro Max:iPhone15,3

Among them, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have the same model code as the iPhone 13 / Pro series and belong to the "iPhone 14" generation.

In fact, this is not unexpected, according to Apple's model code rules, equipped with the same generation of processor models, the model code belongs to the same generation. For example, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c, although released a year apart, are equipped with A6 chip, so the model code is "iPhone 5" series.

In the future, we will also see iPhone 14,7 (iPhone 14) and iPhone 14,8 (iPhone 14 Plus) in performance testing, development and other scenarios.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus retain most of the iPhone 13 design-including bangs for the phone's selfie camera and Face ID sensor, available in five colors: midnight, purple, starlight, red and blue.

Both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are equipped with a stronger A15 bionic chip than last year's iPhone 13. The upgrade point is that the GPU has been upgraded from 4-core to 5-core full blood version, making the images of video apps and high-performance games smoother. In addition, its 6-core CPU can smoothly and efficiently handle extremely demanding tasks, and the 16-core neural network engine performs 15.8 trillion operations per second, which can speed up the calculation speed of machine learning in third-party apps and iOS 16.
