The battery life of Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is two hours higher than that of the previous generation.
CTOnews.com September 15 news, according to foreign media Tom's Guide simulation of actual use of the battery test, the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max battery life is two hours longer than last year's iPhone 13 Pro Max.
In a review of Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max, Tom's Guide said the average battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro Max after a full charge was 14 hours and 42 minutes. In a similar test, the iPhone 13 Pro Max was 12 hours and 16 minutes.
In Tom's Guide's smartphone battery life rankings, the iPhone 14 Pro Max now ranks second behind the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Pro, which has a battery life of about 15 hours and 30 minutes.
In tests, Tom's Guide found that the iPhone 14 Pro Max consumed only 30 percent of its power in five hours when downloading apps, listening to music, and taking photos and videos. After charging nearly 90 percent, the phone's battery power dropped to only 60 percent from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., when it downloaded apps, played music, and took photos and videos.
When it comes to charging, Tom's Guide's test results are not quite consistent with Apple's claim that the iPhone 14 Pro can charge to 50% in less than 30 minutes. Tests have shown that it can charge from 0% to 42% in 30 minutes.
CTOnews.com learned that the iPhone 14 Pro Max does have a slightly smaller battery than Apple's iPhone 13 Pro Max, but thanks to the new A16 Bionic chip and a more efficient display, the battery life has been further improved.
Unlike the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 14 Pro has a more advanced OLED display with variable refresh rates as low as 1Hz, compared to 10Hz on last year's iPhone. In addition to more efficient OLED panels, the display is now controlled by a new display engine embedded in the A16 Bionic chip, which reduces power consumption and features such as ProMotion, Smart Island and Always Bright Display.
According to Apple's official statement, the iPhone 14 Plus battery life is the longest of all iPhone 14 / Pro series, we can look forward to the measured performance of the aircraft.
