AMD new generation flagship graphics card RX 7900 XT design exposed: 24GB memory, three 8pin power supply
CTOnews.com, September 15, according to Videocardz, Igor has obtained the design schematic of the new generation of AMD Radeon graphics card, which is said to be the RX 7900 XT model.
As you can see from the image above, the Navi 31 GPU equipped with the AMD RX 7900 XT consists of seven small chips with 12 video memory solder bits around the GPU. In addition, the RX 7900 XT does not seem to use the latest 16pin graphics card power interface, but still uses a three-eight-pin power interface, which means a maximum power of 450W. In terms of interface, the graphics card has four output interfaces, including three DisplayPort and one HDMI.
According to foreign media sources, the AMD RX 7900XT should be equipped with a complete Navi 31 GPU, with 12288 stream processors, and the GPU consists of one GCD (graphics chip) and six MCD (memory chips). From the point of view of the design, RX 7900XT has GDDR6 memory of 24GB.
CTOnews.com has reported that AMD mentioned the graphics card of the RDNA3 architecture at the Ruilong 7000 launch last month, but has not disclosed the release date of its Radeon RX 7000 series.
