Microsoft reminds Win10 21H1 that support will be stopped soon. Please upgrade as soon as possible.
CTOnews.com Sept. 16, Microsoft has informed Windows 10 21H1 users that the operating system they continue to use will soon be discontinued.
Microsoft plans to stop supporting all versions of Windows 10 21H1 on December 13, 2022. After that date, Windows 10 21H1 will not receive any security updates or patches and users will need to update to Windows 10 21H2 or Windows 11 systems.
In addition to the end of the Windows 10 21H1 life cycle, the notice also means that Microsoft is likely to start forcing users to update to Windows 10 21H2 or later.
CTOnews.com learned that according to AdDuplex's June 2022 report, Windows 10 21H1 currently has a share of about 21%, so a large number of Windows users will need to update the operating system soon.
Support for Microsoft Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2025, and a 22H2 version is currently being prepared, but there won't be much change, as Microsoft is currently focused on Windows 11 development.
