At the same time, in order to support the recovery of the automobile industry, the government has introduced a series of measures to promote car consumption, such as periodic reduction of car purchase tax.

Fu Linghui said that at the same time, the transformation and development trend of the automobile industry is also accelerating, especially the growth trend of new energy vehicles is obviously faster than that of traditional automobiles. This also shows that China's pace in energy, green transformation, economic and social development and low-carbon transformation is accelerating.

CTOnews.com learned that on September 6, Miao Wei, vice chairman of the Economic Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and former minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that production and sales of new energy vehicles for the whole of this year are expected to reach 5.5 million, which means that the high probability of reaching the 25% penetration rate of new energy vehicles can be achieved three years ahead of schedule, that is, this year.

According to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on September 9, in August this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China completed 691,000 and 666000 respectively, with monthly production and sales reaching another record high, with production and sales increasing by 1.2 times and 100% respectively compared with the same period last year.
