Apple iPhone 14 Pro / Max is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 baseband chip, 5G faster and longer battery life

According to the disassembly video released by @ Microcomputer WekiHome, Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 modems to achieve faster 5G speeds and lower power consumption.

Currently, it has not been confirmed whether the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are also equipped with Snapdragon X65 modems, but all models in the Apple family usually use the same modems.

CTOnews.com learned that the Snapdragon X65 5G modem, released in February 2021, is the world's first modem and RF system that supports 10Gbps 5G rates and conforms to the 3GPP Release 16 specification, as well as improved power efficiency, resulting in longer battery life with a 5G delay. In May 2021, Qualcomm updated the Snapdragon X65 modem to support a wider range of millimeter wave spectrum.

Power efficiency improvements in the Snapdragon X65 modem and A16 bionic chip help extend the battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro model. Battery life tests show that the iPhone 14 Pro Max lasts two hours longer than the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
