CTOnews.com September 17 news, IDC report shows that I2021 global artificial intelligence IT total investment scale of 92.95 billion US dollars, 2026 is expected to increase to 301.43 billion US dollars, five-year compound growth rate (CAGR) of about 26.5%.

In terms of China market, IDC predicts that China's AI investment scale is expected to reach USD 26.69 billion in 2026, accounting for about 8.9% of the world's total, ranking second among single countries in the world.

The report pointed out that in the next five years, the hardware market will be the largest first-tier sub-market in China's AI market, accounting for half of the total investment scale of super AI. IDC predicts that IT investment in China's AI hardware market will exceed US $15 billion in 2026, close to the size of the US AI hardware market.

CTOnews.com understands that IDC said that with the gradual improvement of AI infrastructure construction, hardware growth will gradually slow down, and the five-year CAGR will remain at around 16.5%. Among them, the server market, as the main component of the hardware market, accounts for more than 80% in the five-year forecast period.

In terms of industry applications, IDC predicts that AI-related spending by users in the four major end industries of professional services, government, finance and telecommunications will continue to lead during the five-year forecast period, totaling more than 60% of the total spending scale of China's AI market.
