The main structure of the second phase of Xiaomi intelligent factory is completed: it is expected to be put into use by the end of next year, with an annual production capacity of 10 million smartphones.
CTOnews.com September 19 news, according to Beijing Changping released, recently, as one of the major projects in Changping District, Xiaomi Intelligent Factory Phase II M1 project completed the main structure construction, transferred to the secondary structure, decoration, cleaning works and mechanical and electrical equipment installation phase, is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023.
The second phase of the Xiaomi intelligent factory project uses a tall steel structure, which is 100% digitally controlled by key manufacturing elements in the whole process, which will be built into an intelligent manufacturing demonstration plant and a world-class "lighthouse factory" in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The project has a total construction area of 141100 square meters, with a smartphone factory on the east and a laboratory on the west.
CTOnews.com learned that the second-generation smart phone production line of Xiaomi Intelligent Factory II will include SMT sticking, board testing, assembly, machine testing, and the whole process of finished product packaging, with an estimated annual production capacity of 10 million smartphones with an output value of about 60 billion yuan.
According to reports, Xiaomi project is located in Shigezhuang Street, Changping District, which mainly includes three functional sections: Xiaomi Intelligent Factory (M1 Project), Xiaomi Future Industrial Park and Xiaomi Innovation and Research Center (M4 Project). The project is aimed at creating an intelligent industrial park with full coverage and multi-format integration of intelligent terminal equipment research and development, test, production, release, application, demonstration and so on.
At present, various projects are in steady progress, and Xiaomi Intelligent Factory (M1 project) is expected to be delivered and put into operation by the end of 2023. Xiaomi Future Industrial Park and Xiaomi Innovation and Research Center (M4 project) are expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2024.
