On the evening of September 20, Beijing time, it was reported that Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) was sued for abandoning the acquisition of Twitter. As part of the lawsuit, Musk will be questioned by Twitter lawyers next week.

Musk's presentation is scheduled to take place from September 26 to 27, according to a document filed with the Delaware Court of Chancery today. The interview will be held behind closed doors at a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. If necessary, it may be extended to September 28.

At present, the litigation battle between Twitter and Musk is becoming more and more fierce. The trial will begin on October 17 this year and will last for five days. At present, both sides rush to seek a wide range of communications and documents from each other before the trial to better defend themselves. At the same time, the lawsuit also engulfed some celebrities in Silicon Valley and Wall Street.

In addition to Musk, Oracle founder Larry Ellison (Larry Ellison), former Intel CEO Robert Swan and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey also received subpoenas.

In this case, both sides accused the other of violating the acquisition agreement signed in April. Twitter wants the judge to order Musk to continue to buy Twitter at $54.20 a share as agreed.

It has been reported recently that a number of hedge funds, including Greenlight Capita and Pentwater Capital Management, believe that Mr Musk will not get what he wants and may end up buying Twitter at a price 10 to 15 per cent lower than the original trading price.
