The iOS 16 keyboard tactile feature improves the typing feel, but Apple says it may affect battery life

Any software feature on the iPhone will obviously increase power consumption, but Apple's specific mention of this keyboard touch may mean that it may have a greater impact on battery life.

CTOnews.com learned that to enable keyboard touch, open the Settings App, go to Sound and Touch > Keyboard feedback, and turn on touch. This function is suitable for iPhone 8 and newer models running iOS 16 or later, using the Taptic Engine linear motor inside iPhone.
