CTOnews.com September 22 news, yesterday, Xinwanda electric car battery and Yiwu municipal government signed a "project investment agreement", the two sides agreed to invest in the construction of "Xinwanda Yiwu new energy power battery production base project" within the jurisdiction of Yiwu municipal government.

CTOnews.com learned that the project plans to build a 50GWh production base for power battery and energy storage battery, which is mainly engaged in the production and sales of lithium-ion power battery and energy storage battery, including automotive power battery and energy storage battery cell, module, PACK and battery system.

Xin Wanda said that the total investment of the project is about 21.3 billion yuan, which is the largest single manufacturing investment project in the history of Jinhua and Yiwu.

According to data disclosed by Xinwanda on an agency conference call, in the first half of 2022, Xinwanda electric vehicle battery shipments totaled 3.95Gwh, with revenue of 4.2 billion yuan, an increase of 631.92% over the same period last year.
