The new implementation rules expand the scope of road test, demonstration application and demonstration operation of intelligent network connected vehicles equipped with drivers to the whole city, which means that Wuxi, Jiangsu Province has become the first city in China to test and demonstrate intelligent network connected vehicles. According to reports, since Wuxi tried out the "implementation rules" issued in 2021 in September last year, the city's intelligent network-connected automobile road test and demonstration applications have been carried out in an orderly manner, the 177km public test roads have been cumulatively opened, and the vehicle networking infrastructure has covered 450km.
At the same time, the new version of the "implementation rules" adds the relevant contents of the release and operation of the intelligent network, and the main body of the demonstration operation of the intelligent network can charge appropriate fees to lay the foundation for the subsequent formation of a mature business model.
