According to officials, through ANT+ and Bluetooth transmission technology, HRM-Pro Plus can transmit accurate and real-time heart rate and exercise data to Garmin smartwatches, Edge bicycle codes and compatible fitness equipment.

To help runners improve their posture and motivation with a compatible Garmin smartwatch, HRM-Pro Plus captures running dynamics, including stride, stride frequency, touchdown time, touchdown balance, vertical stride ratio, vertical amplitude, etc. In the water, HRM-Pro Plus has storage and forwarding capabilities to store heart rate data while swimming and send the data to a compatible smartwatch after swimming, which is displayed along with other swimming indicators. When an athlete is not wearing a smartwatch, HRM-Pro Plus tracks and stores data such as steps, calories and time of intense activity during daily activities, and then synchronizes these data with the smartwatch via Garmin Connect.
