This voyage completed the in-situ observation of underwater mooring system, underwater production system, deep well field in typical continental slope area and cold spring area of "Haima" gas field by using "Deep Sea Warrior" 4500m manned submersible, and obtained important engineering survey data. At the same time, researchers use the "Deep Sea Warrior" manned submersible, equipped with self-developed deep-sea sediment heat preservation and pressure sampler, deep-sea three-dimensional sensing equipment and other devices to carry out functional tests respectively.
According to the data,"Exploration No.2" is a manned submersible support mother ship fully equipped with domestic scientific research equipment in China. It was purchased by the people's governments of Hainan Province and Sanya City. Under the support organization of Class A strategic pilot project of Chinese Academy of Sciences, it took one and a half years to complete the adaptive additional installation construction in Fujian Mawei Shipyard. Arrived in Sanya on June 28,2020 and officially entered the train.
